After one year of service in which you have worked 1,000 hours, you are eligible for matching funds of $0.50 for each $1 you contribute. You are 100% vested in matching contributions after five years of service, during which you have worked 1,000 hours each year.

Vacation leave is provided. Full-time residents receive 21 days of vacation per calendar year

A GME Learner is entitled to nine (9) paid sick days annually upon matriculation, to be used solely for illness significant enough to interfere with the performance of duty
Unused sick days may not accrue and they may not be “cashed in”
The sick leave bank will be accessible according to policy parameters. Long-term sick leave is accrued and is not paid off at termination

Residents have 5 days (40 hours) of CME time each year to be used for conferences and education use. In the graduating year, this leave can be used for interviewing

These plans include both dental and vision coverage at no additional cost.

Dignity Health provides life/accidental death and dismemberment insurance for residents and pays the premium for 1x annual salary for life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for residents.
Additional coverage levels are available with some cost to the resident.
